On 2/1/2022 we released new throttle mapping options for the Phearable Stage 2 and Stage 3 Honda Civic Type-R Hondata tune.
The new STREET throttle mapping is slightly more aggressive than the original throttle mapping the original stage 2 tune release had. It also allows for slightly more traction slip so that throttle closure is less likely when the ecu detects throttle slip.
The new RACE throttle mapping's first and second gears are much more aggressive than the street version. Third through sixth gear have more torque request at partial throttle in sport and R mode.
Too much throttle may cause wheel spin, especially if you don't have upgraded tires.
A tune revision can be purchased for either the new street or race throttle mapping configuration on our website by clicking here.
